Casa Bellavista is located in the north of the city of Oaxaca, on the slopes
of the San Felipe hills, in the ejido Guadalupe Victoria.
Thanks to its location and being situated on a hill, the house is surrounded by beautiful
vistas, and at night the view of the city is unequaled.
To get here there is a bus route which takes you from the centre of the city of
Oaxaca in about 15 minutes. Or, you can take a taxi from anywhere in the city, including
the airport and the first class bus terminal.
From the bus stop to Casa Bellavista it's a 5 minute walk along a country road
shown in the photograph to the left.
This location is ideal for nature lovers, and for those who enjoy hiking and bicycling.
It is an excellent point of depature for visiting the waterfalls in the San Felipe
community park (30 minutes walking), or simply one of the nearby mountains.
A short walk (crossing a little brook) will lead you to the Luis Donaldo Colosio
recreation centre in which there are basketball courts, baseball
and soccer fields, and an earth running track, and where you can take yoga and aerobics classes.
Casa Bellavista is ideally located between the city and the mountains.
